Lincoln Graham Sr.

Meet Lincoln Graham, Sr.

Founding Bishop at Oneness Pentecostal Tabernacle

BORN September 18th, 1939, in the town of St Ann’s Bay, Jamaica.

I grew up around the United Pentecostal Church in St Ann’s Bay in the early 1940s. I was baptized in Jesus name on April 5, 1960 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on September 26th, of that same year. The late Bishop David A. Gallimore and his wife Gwenneth were my pastors. I would like to pay tribute to the memory of my pastor and my father in the Lord. He was not only my pastor, but he was my mentor, teacher, and role model in the ministry. He was baptized in Jesus name by Bishop Henry Lee; the first person to receive the apostolic message in 1918. The Lord used Bishop David Gallimore to patiently instill the apostolic doctrine into my life. For that, I am eternally grateful.

In 1962-1963 I attended Caribbean Bible School in Kingston, Jamaica, under the leadership of the late A.D. and Bessie Varnado, United Pentecostal Church missionaries to the country. I also owe a debt to H. Glenn Smith and his wife Sis Rachel, my missionary teachers. They are my heroes. Along with Sis Varnado, they have eternally impacted my life.

1963-1969 - first pastorate at place called Liberty Hill, in Jamaica, W.I.

1969 - I migrated to the United States.

1969-1974 - We worshiped at the UPC located at 296 West 92nd St, Manhattan, where Rev. F. A. Nickerson was the host pastor. While we were there I served as the youth director, Sunday School teacher, and choir member.

In 1974 - Pastor Nickerson gave his approval to me to pioneer a church, and on December 1st of that same year, Oneness Pentecostal Tabernacle was born in a rented storefront at 221-09 Linden Blvd., St. Albans, Queens, New York. A year later we purchased our first building, a storefront on the corner of the same block.

1975-77 – I attended New York City Community College to study automotive technology.

1980-1985 - I served as New York District Sunday School Secretary.

1985-1987 - I served as New York Metro District Sunday Director.

1986-1988 - I took courses on African-American history, Black Women In Antiquity, and Black Socialism.

1990 – I dedicated a new church facility built on land purchased in 1983.

1992-1994 - I served as presbyter of the New York Metro District.

2000-2006 - AIM missionary to the country of The Republic of Nigeria. During that time, we introduced the method of “Oneness Apostolic Seminar”, resulting in hundreds of Trinitarian ministers being baptized in Jesus name. I also was able to pioneer one church and establish two new districts in Edo State and Delta State.

2001 - With the approval of the church body and board of directors, I relinquished the position of senior pastor to Pastor Lincoln A. Graham, Jr., my son, so I could be more involved in missionary work in the country of Nigeria.

2004-2006 – I served as the New York Metro District Foreign Missions Director.

2004 – I took a medical team comprising of one doctor and two nurses to Nigeria. One hundred and fifty children and numerous adults were attended to in basic examinations.

2007 - Genesis Institute Of Theology, Evangelism, And Leadership - Master of Theology in Missiology and Pastoral Leadership.

2010 - Marks 50 years preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2014 - Missions Trip to India to teach the Oneness of God Apostolic message.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
